At the Brian Chandler School of Art and Design we offer Fine Art classes for children during the school terms and some special interest Art classes for adults on designated evenings and weekends.

Students attending our school are instructed in basic drawing and observational skills using a wide range of art materials and techniques.

Art, as a specialist subject, is rarely taught in Tasmanian Primary Schools although it is just as important to extend your child’s interest and proficiency in Art as it is in Sport, Music, Drama, Dance and any other extra-curricular activities. The Brian Chandler School of Art and Design has addressed, and continues to address, this fundamental imbalance in your child’s education.
